Detalles Fecha de publicación7 de diciembre de 2016 (Última actualización el: 20 de junio de 2023) Descripción Cada año, la Comisión elabora un informe anual de gestión y rendimiento, que ofrece una visión general de los resultados alcanzados con el presupuesto de la UE y explica cómo este se gestionó y protegió. Este informe es la principal contribución de la Comisión al proceso anual de aprobación de la gestión presupuestaria. El informe expone las medidas que la Comisión adopta para garantizar que el presupuesto de la UE se gestione de conformidad con las normas más estrictas de buena gestión financiera. Al adoptar el informe, la Comisión asume la responsabilidad política global de la gestión del presupuesto de la UE. Se trata de la última fase del ciclo anual de planificación, programación y comunicación de resultados de la Comisión. El informe anual de gestión y rendimiento forma parte del paquete de información financiera y contable integrada de la Comisión, que contiene otros informes, como las cuentas consolidadas. El paquete de información financiera y contable integrada representa la principal contribución de la Comisión al procedimiento anual de aprobación de la gestión, a través del cual el Parlamento Europeo y el Consejo dan su aprobación definitiva a la ejecución presupuestaria para un año concreto.
